Required before anything else

Signed Submission Release

Attach your signed MBM Submission Release (Form MBM-SR-2026.1) as a PDF. Electronic signatures are fine. The page checks that the file is the MBM Release before the form can be sent. Your query is not opened, and nothing you send is forwarded to Matt, until it is verified that your signed Release is attached. Submissions without one are set aside unread.

Printed, signed, and scanned? That works too — the page will note it as a scanned copy for manual verification.

Submission Acknowledgment and Release

1. I have attached my signed MBM Submission Release (Form MBM-SR-2026.1). I understand that a signed Release is a condition of consideration; that nothing I send will be forwarded to Matthew Valentinas, this query will not be opened, and no material in it will be read, until it is verified that a signed Release from me is attached; and that any submission without one may be deleted unread.

2. This submission is unsolicited and creates no confidential, fiduciary, agency, or other relationship with Mom's Basement Management, Mom's Basement Media Inc., Matthew Valentinas, or their affiliates (together, “MBM”). MBM has no obligation to read, respond to, or represent my material.

3. Ideas, themes, plots, and characters may not be protectable, and MBM may already have similar or identical material from other sources. I will have no claim against MBM by reason of any such similarity.

4. I am entitled to no compensation, credit, or other consideration unless MBM and I sign a written agreement expressly providing for it.

5. I recognize that I cannot and will not bring any claim, suit, or demand against MBM arising from its receipt or review of this submission, and I release MBM from any such claim, except under a signed written agreement. The MBM Submission Release governs all material I submit.
